Grandmaster Eddie Minyard
World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation
Grandmaster Eddie Minyard is one of the most respected senior martial arts leaders, bringing more than 60 years of experience in Taekwon-Do, karate, and martial arts instruction. A Vietnam veteran, author, musician, and lifelong educator, he began his martial arts journey in 1965 and has since earned the rank of 9th Dan while training under some of Taekwon-Do’s most influential pioneers, including Grandmasters Chung Eun Kim, Yong Duk Choi, and Yong Sung Choi. Throughout his distinguished career, Grandmaster Minyard has owned and operated martial arts schools across the United States, mentored thousands of students, and provided instruction to law enforcement officers, military personnel, and first responders.
A close friend and trusted student of Supreme Master Bok Man Kim, Grandmaster Minyard has dedicated himself to preserving the history, philosophy, and technical excellence of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do. Today, he serves as
Senior Advisor to the President of the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation, providing guidance on organizational development, instructor education, and the preservation of Supreme Master Kim’s legacy. Grand Master Brad Shipp

Grandmaster Brad Shipp is a 9th Degree Black Belt in Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do with more than 35 years of martial arts experience and over 27 years as a professional instructor. He began his martial arts journey in 1988 under the direct instruction of Supreme Master Bok Man Kim, Founder of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do, earning his First Degree Black Belt after three years of dedicated training. Throughout his career, Grandmaster Shipp has remained committed to preserving and advancing the teachings of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do while developing generations of students and instructors.
As President of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do, Grandmaster Shipp has established multiple martial arts academies and has led seminars, instructor training, and technical workshops throughout the United States and around the world, including South Korea, Singapore, England, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Austria, Russia, and Puerto Rico. He has coached national and international championship teams, helped establish Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do organizations across numerous states and countries, co-authored the Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Encyclopedia series with Supreme Master Bok Man Kim, and was inducted into the USKF Black Belt Hall of Fame in 2022.
Known for his passion for teaching and unwavering dedication to his students, Grandmaster Shipp continues to honor the legacy of Supreme Master Bok Man Kim by promoting excellence in martial arts, leadership, and character development. His mission is to ensure that the traditions, techniques, and values of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do continue to inspire future generations around the world.
Senior Vice President
Michael Davis
Grand Master Michael Davis serves as Senior Vice President of the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation. A lifelong martial artist, he began training at age 11 and continued developing his skills throughout his youth and college years.
In 1990, Grand Master Davis joined Jungyae Martial Arts Academy in Kirkland, Washington. There, he trained personally under Grand Master Won Kuk Kim in the Jungyae system, which incorporates martial arts and self-defense techniques from Korea, Japan, and China. After earning his first-degree black belt in 1994, he assumed leadership of the academy and began his career as a Jungyae instructor. He has since dedicated more than three decades to preserving, developing, and teaching the system.
On July 22, 2018, Grand Master Davis was awarded the rank of eighth-degree black belt by Supreme Grand Master Bok Man Kim. As a senior leader of the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation, he is committed to advancing its mission, supporting its members, and carrying forward Supreme Grand Master Kim’s martial arts legacy.
Community service has remained central to Grand Master Davis’s work. Through numerous fundraising events, he has helped raise thousands of dollars for organizations and causes including the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Erica Watt Leukemia Fund, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Grand Master Davis continues to lead Jungyae Martial Arts Academy and serve communities throughout Washington’s Eastside. Through disciplined instruction, mentorship, and service, he helps students develop confidence, character, leadership, and the ability to reach their fullest potential.
Vice President
Daniel McCarter
Master Daniel McCarter is a sixth-degree black belt and Vice President of the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation. He is also the owner and master instructor of Woodinville Martial Arts in Woodinville, Washington.
For many years, Master McCarter has dedicated himself to teaching martial arts and helping students develop confidence, discipline, respect, perseverance, and leadership. Under his guidance, Woodinville Martial Arts provides Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do instruction for children, teenagers, and adults in a positive, family-oriented environment.
Master McCarter carries forward the traditions of Woodinville Martial Arts, which was established in 1997 by Grandmaster Brad Shipp. Working alongside Instructor Rachel McCarter and the academy’s instructional team, he continues to strengthen the school’s connection to the Woodinville community while expanding opportunities for students both inside and outside the dojang.
His approach to martial arts education extends beyond physical techniques. Students receive instruction in practical self-defense, traditional martial arts weapons, personal responsibility, teamwork, and leadership. The academy also offers camps, outdoor activities, demonstrations, and other experiences designed to build resilience, friendship, and respect for others.
Master McCarter has supported the growth of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do throughout Washington and has helped prepare students to participate in Federation events, including the annual Founder’s Championship honoring Supreme Master Bok Man Kim.
As Vice President of the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation, Master McCarter is committed to supporting its members, advancing its mission, and preserving the martial arts legacy of Supreme Master Bok Man Kim. Through his leadership and instruction, he continues to promote the traditions, principles, and values of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do for future generations.
Director of Black Belt Promotions and Instructor Certification
Daniel Gaul
Grandmaster Daniel Gaul serves as Director of Black Belt Promotions and Instructor Certification for the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation. An eighth-degree black belt and senior martial arts educator, he has devoted decades to teaching, developing instructors, and preserving the technical standards and traditions of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do.
Together with Grandmaster Deborah Henckel, Grandmaster Gaul opened the first martial arts school dedicated to teaching Chun Kuhn Do. Today, they continue to own and operate Integrity Martial Arts in Firestone, Colorado. Established in 2003, the academy has served Colorado’s Carbon Valley community for more than two decades.
As Chief Instructor at Integrity Martial Arts, Grandmaster Gaul oversees a comprehensive curriculum rooted in traditional Taekwon Do and Chun Kuhn Do. Students receive instruction in hand and foot techniques, patterns, practical self-defense, sparring, weapons, joint locks, pressure points, throws, falls, physical conditioning, and character development. The academy provides programs for children, adults, and families in an inclusive and supportive training environment.
Grandmaster Gaul worked closely with Supreme Master Bok Man Kim and has remained committed to preserving the Founder’s complete martial arts system. He has hosted seminars and special training opportunities with Supreme Master Kim and other senior Taekwon Do pioneers, giving students and instructors access to the history, techniques, philosophy, and practical applications of the art.
Throughout his career, Grandmaster Gaul has trained and mentored students from beginner through advanced black-belt ranks. His instruction emphasizes technical accuracy, practical ability, personal integrity, leadership, and the responsibility that accompanies advancement in rank. He has also helped prepare instructors to teach effectively, maintain professional standards, and pass Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do to future generations.
As Director of Black Belt Promotions and Instructor Certification, Grandmaster Gaul helps establish and maintain the Federation’s requirements for black-belt advancement and instructor qualification. He supports the evaluation of promotion candidates, the development of qualified instructors, and the consistent application of Federation standards across affiliated schools.
Grandmaster Gaul’s leadership reflects his dedication to Supreme Master Bok Man Kim’s legacy and his belief that rank must represent knowledge, skill, character, and service. Through his teaching and oversight, he helps ensure that every Federation black belt and certified instructor is prepared to uphold the principles and standards of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do.
Director of Technical Standards
Deborah Henckel
Grandmaster Deborah Henckel serves as Director of Technical Standards for the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation. An eighth-degree black belt, she is a senior instructor, curriculum developer, and longtime advocate for preserving the technical and philosophical foundations of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do.
Grandmaster Henckel worked closely with Supreme Master Bok Man Kim during the development of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do. She contributed to the creation and refinement of the system’s techniques, philosophy, visual identity, and official logos. Her work helped establish a unified presentation of the art while ensuring that its symbols and educational materials reflected Supreme Master Kim’s vision of complete physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
Together with Grandmaster Daniel Gaul, Grandmaster Henckel owns and operates Integrity Martial Arts in Firestone, Colorado. Established in 2003, the academy has served Colorado’s Carbon Valley community for more than two decades. Its family-oriented curriculum combines traditional Taekwon Do and Chun Kuhn Do with practical self-defense, weapons training, joint locks, pressure points, throws, falls, conditioning, and sparring.

Her instruction emphasizes technical precision, practical application, personal responsibility, confidence, and the lifelong values of martial arts. She has also helped prepare students for belt examinations, demonstrations, tournaments, seminars, and instructor-development programs.
Grandmaster Henckel has supported seminars and training opportunities with some of Taekwon Do’s most respected pioneers, including Supreme Master Bok Man Kim. Through Integrity Martial Arts, she has helped provide students with direct exposure to Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do’s history, traditional patterns, weapons curriculum, and self-defense principles.
As Director of Technical Standards, Grandmaster Henckel helps guide the consistency, accuracy, and quality of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do instruction throughout the Federation. She works to ensure that techniques, patterns, terminology, rank requirements, instructional resources, and visual standards remain faithful to the Founder’s teachings while continuing to serve modern students and instructors.
Her leadership reflects decades of dedication to Supreme Master Bok Man Kim, the integrity of his martial arts system, and the responsibility of preserving Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do for future generations.
Treasurer
John Koloch
Master John Koloch serves as Treasurer of the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation and holds the rank of sixth-degree black belt. A longtime student of Supreme Master Bok Man Kim, he has devoted more than 25 years to martial arts training, self-defense instruction, and the advancement of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do.
Master Koloch has played an important role in preserving Supreme Master Kim’s teachings and martial arts legacy. His dedication contributed to the development of the Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Encyclopedia, an extensive record of the techniques, principles, philosophy, and complete wellness system developed by Supreme Master Kim. He remains committed to ensuring that this knowledge is preserved and made available to future generations of instructors and students.
A United States Air Force veteran, Master Koloch brings the values of discipline, integrity, accountability, and service to both his martial arts and professional endeavors. He is the founder and Chief Accounting Guide of GeneralCents Accounting, a veteran-owned accounting and advisory firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Through his firm, he helps business owners better understand their finances, strengthen their organizations, and work toward long-term financial independence.
Master Koloch is also Co-Founder of the Bok Man Kim Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Supreme Master Kim’s legacy while expanding access to martial arts training. Through scholarships and financial assistance, the Foundation helps individuals and families facing financial challenges experience the confidence, discipline, resilience, leadership, and sense of community that martial arts can provide.
As Treasurer of the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation, Master Koloch applies his extensive financial experience and organizational leadership to support the Federation’s responsible growth and long-term stability. His service reflects his deep loyalty to Supreme Master Bok Man Kim and his continuing commitment to preserving, strengthening, and promoting Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do throughout the world.

Sally Rodgers
Sally Rodgers serves as Director at Large for the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation. A black belt student at Woodinville Martial Arts in Woodinville, Washington, she brings to the Federation a deep commitment to service, leadership, and the continued growth of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do.
Through her martial arts training, Rodgers has embraced the principles of discipline, perseverance, respect, personal development, and community responsibility. Her experience as a student gives her an important perspective within the Federation’s leadership, helping ensure that the needs and experiences of students remain central to its programs and future direction.
Rodgers is also Co-Founder and President of the Bok Man Kim Legacy Foundation. Established to preserve and advance the legacy of Supreme Master Bok Man Kim, the Foundation works to make martial arts training accessible to individuals and families facing financial challenges. Its scholarship and financial-assistance programs help students experience the confidence, discipline, resilience, leadership, and supportive community that martial arts can provide.
In her work with the Foundation, Rodgers helps promote scholarship opportunities, develop relationships with participating martial arts schools, and build support for programs that remove financial barriers to training. She has also represented the Foundation publicly alongside Federation leaders to explain its mission and Core Scholarship programs.
As Director at Large for the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation, Rodgers supports initiatives that strengthen communication, encourage participation, and connect the Federation’s leadership with its schools, instructors, students, and communities. Her service reflects a strong dedication to preserving Supreme Master Bok Man Kim’s vision and ensuring that the values and benefits of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do remain available to future generations.
Director of Marketing and Communications
Rachel McCarter
Rachel McCarter serves as Director of Marketing and Communications for the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation. An experienced martial arts instructor, school owner, and communications professional, she brings a practical understanding of how effective marketing can help martial arts organizations strengthen their communities and reach new generations of students.
Rachel began training at Woodinville Martial Arts in 2005 and became an instructor in 2011. Together with her husband, Master Daniel McCarter, she owns and operates the academy in Woodinville, Washington. Over the years, she has contributed to many areas of the school’s operation, including instruction, program management, student communication, community engagement, event promotion, and long-term planning.
Her experience gives her a specialized understanding of martial arts marketing. She recognizes that a successful martial arts school must communicate more than its classes and techniques—it must also convey the confidence, discipline, leadership, resilience, and sense of belonging that students develop through training.
Rachel led a major redesign of the Woodinville Martial Arts website, creating a more modern, accessible, and informative resource for current and prospective students. The updated website presents the academy’s programs for preschoolers, children, teenagers, and adults while highlighting its commitment to practical self-defense, fitness, character development, leadership, and community. Her work has helped the school communicate its identity more clearly and connect families with programs suited to their needs.
Rachel has also helped promote Woodinville Martial Arts through community events, demonstrations, camps, outdoor programs, anniversary celebrations, and digital communications. Her combined experience as an instructor and marketer enables her to communicate authentically with students, parents, instructors, school owners, and the wider public.
As Director of Marketing and Communications, Rachel helps guide the Federation’s website content, public messaging, digital presence, event promotion, and member communications. She works to ensure that the Federation presents a clear and consistent identity while honoring the teachings and legacy of Supreme Master Bok Man Kim.
Through her creativity, organizational leadership, and firsthand knowledge of the martial arts community, Rachel supports the continued growth of the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation and helps share the values and benefits of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do with audiences around the world.
Director of International relations
Jenny Capizano
Jenny Capizano serves as Director of International Relations for the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation and holds the rank of second-degree black belt. Her service to the Federation combines her martial arts training with extensive professional experience in communication, client relations, program coordination, and logistical management.
Jenny had the honor of traveling internationally with Supreme Master Bok Man Kim, supporting seminars and other martial arts events in different countries. Working behind the scenes, she assisted with travel arrangements, schedules, communications, event coordination, and the many logistical details required to keep each program running smoothly. Her organizational ability allowed Supreme Master Kim and the participating instructors to concentrate on teaching while students received a well-planned and professional training experience.
Through these travels, Jenny developed firsthand experience working with martial artists, instructors, schools, and organizations from different cultural backgrounds. She witnessed the international reach of Supreme Master Kim’s teachings and gained a strong appreciation for the importance of communication, hospitality, preparation, and mutual respect in building lasting relationships across national boundaries.
Professionally, Jenny has served as Vice President with P\S\L Group, a global organization specializing in healthcare communications, medical education, research, and information services. Her work involves coordinating complex initiatives, maintaining strong client relationships, managing projects, and bringing together people and resources to achieve shared objectives. These skills directly support her work within the Federation.
As Director of International Relations, Jenny helps develop and maintain connections between the World Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do Federation and its international members, instructors, schools, and partner organizations. She supports communication across cultures, assists with the planning of international seminars and events, and helps ensure that visiting instructors and delegations receive the coordination and support they need.
Jenny remains deeply committed to Supreme Master Bok Man Kim’s legacy and to the continued international growth of Chun Kuhn Taekwon Do. Through her professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to service, she helps strengthen the relationships that unite the Federation’s worldwide martial arts community.
